Natural habitat and Range: They reside in the lowlands on the coast of eastern Panama. They inhabit leaf litter and have adapted well to plantations.

Temperature: Their natural temperature range is between 75-80 degrees Fahrenheit.

Humidity: They prefer an ambient humidity of 80% or higher.

Size: A medium-sized frog, around 1 ½ inches in length or larger

Temperament and Experience: This is a shy but visually striking frog. They are very hardy, making them great for beginning owners. These frogs can be a little sensitive to stress so avoid unnecessary handling and terrarium changes.

Terrarium Setup: Provide 5-10 gallons of space per frog. They are mainly terrestrial but can be somewhat arboreal.
